Afrospeed began as a one-man operation in a garage, driven by the desire to learn and experience as much as possible about building and racing cars, utilizing the power of YouTube and stubbornness.
We were formally founded in January 2020 and have since been involved in or competed in motorsports ranging from karting to Autocross, rallycross, and stage rally. Since our founding year, we have competed regularly in #Gridlife’s TrackBattle Time Attack Series.
We opened our first formal shop in 2023 and have since been offering a wide variety of automotive and racing-based services to the St. Louis community and, after several successful mentoring opportunities we created the Afrospeed Foundation, a 501c Non-profit with the intent of inspiring young People of Color to pursue a career in motorsport and help give them the experience needed to land jobs within the industry.
Afrospeed uses Data, Techniques, and professional-level procedures to help give our students an experience comparable to that of pro teams and ensure our customers’ cars are always ready for the next track day.
Everything we do at Afrospeed is centered around Learning and offering honest and exceptional service.
