About Us

Afrospeed started as just one man in a garage trying to learn and experience as much as possible about building and racing cars using the power of YouTube and a stubbornness that refused to let any problem become anything other than another lesson to learn or a tool to buy.

We were formally founded in January of 2020 and have since been involved in and or competed in motorsports ranging from Karting, to Autocross, to Rallycross, to Stage rally, and since our founding year, we have competed regularly in #Gridlife’s TrackBattle time attack Series.

We opened our first formal shop in 2023 and have since been offering a wide variety of automotive and racing-based services to the St. Louis community and, after several successful mentoring opportunities we created the Afrospeed Foundation, a 501c Non-profit with the intent of inspiring young People of Color to pursue a career in motorsport and help give them the experience needed to land jobs within the industry.

Afrospeed uses Data, Techniques, and procedures to help give our students an experience comparable to that of pro teams and ensure our customers’ cars are always ready for the next track day.

We continue to give everyone opportunities to explore new ideas and innovations to survive in this competitive field and dominate it.

Everything we do at Afrospeed is centered around continuous learning and improvement.
